How you’ll make an impact
We are seeking a motivated Senior Water Services Operator (Wastewater) to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality water and sewer services to our community. You will be responsible for operating treatment processes in line with Council’s quality standards and regulatory requirements while ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure assets. This position offers a salary ranging from $72,986 to $93,428 gross per annum, plus superannuation (12 per cent), with
commencing salary dependant on qualifications, skills, qualifications and
experience.
What you’ll bring to our team
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Cert III Water Industry Operations (Water Treatment and/or Networks) or equivalents.
- Demonstrated experience operating water and/or sewer treatment and
pumping facilities. - ability to work with a small team to achieve organisational outcomes on
budget and within a specified time frame. - Demonstrated ability to operate computing
technology including but not limited to computers, SCADA, tablets, and smart
phones with associated software. - To be prepared to work according to a 7-day
spread-of-hours on-call roster and perform overtime duties (as applicable)
where directed. - General Induction for Construction Work.
- Class MR Drivers Licence.
