This position is classified as a PACS Band 8 ($103,539 - $112,076) under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration system.

As Kwinana continues to grow and modernise, we have an exciting opportunity for two experienced ICT professionals to join our Technology team as Senior Technical Services Officers.
In this position you'll play a key role in delivering expert technical services across the City's ICT environment. Acting as the senior technical escalation point within the Technical Services team, you'll resolve complex technical issues, maintain business-critical systems and mentor team members while driving continuous improvement across our technology services.
This diverse, hands-on role spans Microsoft technologies, end-user computing, cybersecurity, CCTV, audiovisual systems and supporting infrastructure. You'll also work closely with managed service providers and technology vendors to ensure reliable, secure and customer-focused ICT services are delivered across the organisation.

What You'll Need
To make an impact as our new Senior Technical Services Officer, you'll bring:
- Extensive experience providing high-level technical support across a broad ICT environment, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and end-user computing.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across multiple systems while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Experience supporting or administering ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, CCTV and audiovisual technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience mentoring colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement within an ICT team.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information and Communication Technology, or substantial equivalent industry experience.
