What you need to know...
- permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
- the package: $60,312 to $71,923 plus superannuation per annum
- location: Iluka, NSW
- access to fitness passport
- 9 day fortnight
About the role
Are you passionate about outdoor spaces and ready to lead from the front?
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced team member to take on a full-time role as Senior Field Operator (Parks Maintenance) with the Iluka Open Spaces team. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and presentation of Council’s open spaces, parks, and reserves in the stunning coastal communities of Iluka and Woombah. From gardens to playgrounds and sportsfields, you’ll help shape vibrant community spaces that locals and visitors love.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring team members
- Coordinating daily operations and maintenance programs
- Undertaking horticultural, landscaping and general open space works
- Ensuring high standards of safety, presentation, and service delivery

This position is located at Iluka, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
