Your Role:
As a HR Waste Truck Drive, you’ll undertake refuse removal services and street cleaning, that complies with the City of Perth’s specified work standards. Reporting to the Assistant Supervisor, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive a waste collection truck and compactor that has 3 axels;
- Use of cleaning equipment including road and footpath sweepers, hand blower and high pressure cleaning equipment;
- In addition to the plant and equipment mentioned above, drive and operate a variety of waste and street cleaning plant and equipment, including but not limited to:
- Road sweeper.
- Footpath sweeper.
- Steam cleaner ute.
- High pressure ute.
- High pressure footpath cleaner.
- Front end loader.
- Ensure safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Western Australian Work Health & Safety legislation as well as the City’s safe systems of work
