About The Role

The Safety Business Support Officer plays an integral role within the Safety & Wellbeing Team, providing essential business support to ensure the effective delivery of safety initiatives across the Council.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the Work Health and Safety Management System, managing logistics for safety consultancy forums, and facilitating injury management performance reporting. You will also be involved in claims administration and the return-to-work logistics management.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is committed to promoting safety and wellbeing within the community.

  • Relevant experience in safety, injury management, or business administration.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and with professionalism.

  • Package: $67,752 - $75,656 (full-time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Permanent Part Time, 28 hours per week.
