An
exciting opportunity for a Return to Work and Injury Management Advisor, to
deliver injury management services, manage WorkCover claims, compensation and collaborate
stakeholders at various levels of the organisation to create a safe work environment
and contribute to staff wellbeing.

About
the Role
Reporting
to our Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator, this role will partner with line
managers and service unit managers to provide specialist and practical safety
and wellbeing advice, supporting injured workers and guiding line managers to
implement early intervention strategies to facilitate effective return to work
programs.
Duties Include
- Provide
technical advice and guidance on matters relating to injury prevention and
management, return to work, and workers compensation. - Facilitate
and manage the rehabilitation process for injured and ill workers in
accordance with statutory and company obligations. - Manage
WorkCover payments and payroll reconciliations. - Oversee
Manningham designated first aid program for staff. - Provide
coaching and guidance of safety and wellbeing procedures to staff and
management. - Liaison
with external stakeholders including treating practitioners,
rehabilitation consultants and workers compensation insurers. - Prepare
reports relating to injury statistics, claims and safety performance, and
present data with aim of improving safety culture and practices. - Promote
safety culture and implement wellbeing initiatives across the business. - Provide
general administrative support to the safety team and secretarial support in
coordinating safety committee meetings across the organisation.
Skills and Experience
To
be successful in this position you will have;
- Demonstrated
experience and knowledge in injury prevention and management, return to
work and workers compensation obligations and more broadly in OHS. - Safety
qualifications e.g. CERT IV in WHS/OHS are desirable. - Return
to Work Coordinator Certification or prepared to obtain the certification. - You
are a great communicator with demonstrated ability to build relationships
with stakeholders leading to successful outcomes in injury management,
return to work and safety. - Demonstrated
experience in documents and records management and general administration with high level of
attention to detail. - Demonstrated
ability to take a proactive approach in resolving return to work matters
in a consultative manner.
