Do you have a passion for working with our older generation?  Cobar Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at the Lilliane Brady Village, with previous experience in an aged care environment.  The Lilliane Brady Village is a 44-bed residential aged care facility in Cobar.  Cobar is a rural mining town located in far western NSW, our shire is one of the largest in the state, spanning over 44,000 square kilometres.

  • Liaising with residents and their significant others as well as members of a multidisciplinary team to achieve position resident outcomes

We are looking for suitably qualified staff who have what it takes to make a difference in our resident's lives, can take charge, and lead by example. You will have advanced clinical skills, a caring and supportive nature, a 'can do' willingness to go the extra mile, a positive attitude towards the health and wellbeing of residents and an interest in contemporary aged care practice. You will be approachable, but balance this with excellent time management skills.

Applicants must provide a covering letter, current resume, and a copy of their AHPRA registration.
