As part of our Property Division, you will be instrumental in shaping the way we utilise and manage our community assets, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our residents.
About The Role
This role is aimed at ensuring that all Council property-related activities are conducted efficiently, delivering value to the community. You will manage a wide range of property functions including lease agreements, road closure and easement matters and statutory property matters. You will also be responsible for management of Crown land and Native Title issues.
In this position, you will also oversee property projects and provide expert advisory services to both the Council and the public, demonstrating strong tactical thinking and collaborative relationship-building skills.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in property management and statutory transactions.
- Tertiary qualifications in Land/Property Economics, Property Management, Valuation, Real Estate, Law, Planning, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing Crown land and knowledge of the Crown Lands Management Act is desirable.
- Experience in Native Title issues relating to the Crown Lands Management Act is desirable.
- Experience in managing road closure and easement matters, including sourcing and reviewing valuation advice.
- Extensive experience in managing property transactions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with a proven ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your ability to interpret relevant legislation and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment will be critical to your success in this role.

- Package: $96,668 - $108,266 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week, with option of 19-day month flex time arrangement available.
