- 6mth contract to support an exciting new local initiative
- Part time, 25hrs - Mon - Fri based at our Hillsdale Office
- Salary: $1,121.69 - $1,256.29 pw + 11.5% super

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Project officer to help deliver an innovative new project funded by the NSW Government. Th position will work with key stakeholders in Carlton, including local businesses, arts & cultural institutions and support internal Council teams to deliver local improvements in the suburb. Whilst this is an initial 6 month opportunity, there is the possibility to extend.
You can also expect to:
- Coordinate and support the Project Reference Group
- Collaborate with other Business Units, including Environment and Resilience, City Infrastructure and Arts and Culture to ensure delivery of milestone activities within the project
- Work with key external stakeholders to ensure their contributions to the delivery of the funded initiatives are considered.
- Prepare milestone reports as per the funding agreement.
- Promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through open, fair, and transparent decision making and ethical, professional behaviour.
- Work in collaboration with and assist the team, Manager, and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands and Council priorities.
- Undertake other tasks and actions as assigned by the Manager.
About you
We are looking for an industrious individual with the following:
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Experience in full MS suite of products
- Positive stakeholder liaison skills
