We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Project Officer to join our team delivering small to medium projects across the organisation.
This role will see you managing projects from planning through to delivery, while also supporting Project Engineers and Project Managers on larger infrastructure works.
You will work across project documentation, contract administration, contractor & consultant management, budgeting and project coordination to ensure successful project outcomes.
The successful candidate will fit well within an established and collaborative team environment, demonstrate initiative and be willing to learn & grow within the role.
The Project Officer is responsible for:
- Delivery of small to medium projects across the organisation
- Prepare project plans, specifications, tenders & contract administration
- Coordinate pre-construction activities and project administration tasks
- Supervise and administer construction and infrastructure contracts
- Provide technical support & project assistance across of variety of works
- Ensure project meet safety, environmental, quality, time, and budget objectives
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, public utilities & government agencies
- Contribute to improving organisational project management processes
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
- Experience delivering or supporting infrastructure or construction projects
- Knowledge of contract administration and project management principles
- Experience working construction contracts such as AS400, AS2124, GC21 or similar
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
- Current drivers licence
- WH&S Construction Induction Card

Salary range: Grade 15 - $86,308.58 - $93,394.43 per annum plus allowances and superannuation for a 35 hour work week.
Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
