  • Temporary full-time position for upto 6 months, 35 hours per week. (Can be extended up to 12months) , 
  • Salary from $75,960.23 to $82,225.96 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation
  • 3% award increase from July 2025

About the role:

This role will provide a range of project management administration support to the Manager and Project Delivery team on preparing research, writing reports and correspondence as required. You will coordinate project and team meetings including scheduling, preparation of agendas, minutes and tracking project actions.

In this role, you will: 

  • Adhere to all relevant legislation, standards, codes of practice that relate to the activities of their Section to ensure that Council processes and documents adhere to these requirements
  • Provide a range of project management and support services, ensuring project and administration activities are undertaken

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications in office and business administration, and/or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, and/or knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience of corporate record management, systems/processes and the use of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven experience in providing administration and project management support to a multi skilled team.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
