ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced individual to join our Engineering Works team. Reporting to the Manager Engineering Works, this role will lead the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering infrastructure that supports our growing community.

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- Demonstrated professional experience in program and project management, procurement, estimating, planning, design, and construction.
- Demonstrated professional experience in managing civil projects, budgets and people in order to achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to brief and manage service providers including consultants, contractors and temporary staff.
- Proven sound project investigation and design skills associated with civil engineering operations.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including high level ability to negotiate and consult on complex matters and provide technical advice and community information and services through effective written and verbal communication.
The rewards
- A salary range of $109,300 to $125,400 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, level of experience and qualifications.
