Are you an experience Procurement Officer looking to further your career and make a difference for your community? We are looking for a highly motivated individual who possesses exceptional negotiation and communication skills and who thrives in optimising purchasing power while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations? In this key role, you will provide procurement and contracting services to support procurement processes and contracting activities across the organisation.
What this role looks like:
• Monitor contracts expirations & extensions and provide guidance on the way forward
• Provide support and expert advice on the tender/quotation process.
• Act as probity officer on tender & quotation evaluation processes.
• Create and maintain product catalogue items in CiAnywhere
• Maintain contract records in CiAnywhere Contract Management Module.
• Follow up with suppliers to maintain insurances current.
• Resolve escalated customer requests, enquiries and complaints.
• Provide and update information to comply with legislative and statutory requirements such as Annual Report, Budget Review Statements, GIPA etc.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Minimum 3 years procurement experience or in a similar administrative role.
• Knowledge in Local Government Acts and Regulations pertaining to procurement.
• Knowledge in CiAnywhere and ECM would be considered an advantage.
