The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a collaborative individual to work with families and communities to promote the importance of preschool education and encourage future enrolments in preschool services.

As a Preschool Liaison Team Leader, you will undertake community engagement and outreach activities to understand and address the educational needs of families with young children, while promoting the importance of preschool education across the community. You will collaborate with stakeholders, support families through enrolment and transition processes, and coordinate the delivery of programs that build preschool readiness and increase participation.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate III in Children’s Services or other relevant qualification and has three (3) years of recent experience in early childhood education (indicative).

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the importance of preschool education to a child’s development.
  • Demonstrated ability to form strong relationships with families, community members and service providers.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and conduct evaluations.
  • Skills in influencing, informing and promoting services to adults.

Benefits

This is a fixed term, full time position working 35 hours per week until 30 December 2026.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $83,725.82 gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $1,437.60 per week base salary
  • $172.51 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
