Pool Lifeguards – Casual
Are you passionate about water safety and community wellbeing?
Gwydir Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Casual Pool Lifeguards.
Work is available at both Bingara and Warialda swimming pools, helping us create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all members of our community.
The role will include:
- Proactively patrolling the pool areas to ensure patron safety and reduce potential risks and hazards
- Maintaining a friendly and professional presence, with a strong focus on customer service
- Being flexible and available to work weekends, evenings and shifts during pool opening hours.
These are casual positions, and staff may be called upon at short notice to help cover staff leave and unexpected absences.
This position will require a NSW Lifeguard Certificate (you must be 16 years plus to undertake this training).
Gwydir Shire Council will be facilitating a lifeguard course for interested applicants.
