Salary
$64,368 to $72,109 per annum (based on 35 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9 day fortnight
Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the role
The Pennant Hills Library team is responsible for the day-to-day lending and return of library resources and delivery of information services at Pennant Hills Library. The team has direct contact with a high volume of customers. Team members may be required to work with other library teams and at other locations. The position may require operational supervision of staff and has contact with all Council personnel and the general public.
Position Requirements
- Diploma in Library and Information Studies accepted by the Australian Library and Information Association for technician membership
- Demonstrated ability to provide technology support to library customers of all ages
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective readers advisory, information and circulation services to a wide range of customers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to contribute to library programs
- Current Working With Children Check
About you
The Pennant Hills Library Team is seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused person with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Completion of the Diploma in Library and Information Studies accepted by the Australian Library and Information Association for technician membership is an essential qualification for the position as well as a current Working with Children's Check.
The ability to work independently and as a member of a team is critical to the success of this role, as is accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to meet agreed deadlines. The position is primarily based at the Pennant Hills Library and may be rostered to other libraries as needed.
