PARKS AND GARDENS ATTENDANT - GULGONG

About the Role
Full time position based in Gulgong, NSW
This position ensures that all Council’s parks and gardens
(including but not limited to parks, reserves, cemeteries, recreational
facilities and Council’s streetscape) are maintained and preserved in
accordance with Council’s policies, plans and weekly works programs.

Essential Job Requirements -
- Basic communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical labouring tasks and complete efficiently to desired
- Demonstrated ability to work to agreed targets in a team environment
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training
The starting salary being offered for this full-time position is $2,154.00 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $56,004.00 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience). In addition, an Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $38.98 per fortnight.
