Are you an experienced accommodation or holiday park manager who thrives in a hands‑on leadership role? Do you enjoy bringing people together, navigating challenges with confidence, and creating places where both visitors and staff feel welcome?
We are looking for a Park Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a beautifully located coastal tourist park, ensuring it continues to be a sought‑after holiday destination while embracing future improvements and change.
This role is ideal for a strong, people‑focused leader who can balance operational excellence with warmth, resilience and vision.
The opportunity
Set against a stunning coastal backdrop at Bulli Beach, this park is a popular destination for holidaymakers and long‑term guests alike.
As Park Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the charm, appeal and high standards of the park, while steadily enhancing the overall visitor experience.
You will lead a diverse operational team of 12 or more, set the tone for a positive workplace culture, and support management‑led plans to evolve and improve the park for the future. Find out more about our Tourist Parks Here
This is a permanent, full-time role operating on a 10-days-on, four-days-off roster, including weekend work. Salary from : $93,557 up to $107,911 per annum plus superannuation (Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications)
A minimum increase of 3.25% to the salary from 1 July 2026 in accordance with Council's Enterprise Agreement.
How you'll make a difference
In this role, you will:
- Lead and motivate a diverse multi‑disciplinary operational team, fostering high staff morale, engagement and performance
- Confidently manage difficult conversations and conflict in a calm, respectful and solution‑focused way
- Ensure the park is operated and presented as a welcoming, safe and high‑quality holiday destination
- Enhance the visitor experience through strong customer service standards, practical problem‑solving and continuous improvement
- Support and implement operational and site improvement initiatives in line with management direction
- Contribute innovative and practical ideas that improve park operations, guest satisfaction and commercial outcomes
- Coordinate workloads, assess performance against objectives, mentor and develop staff
- Manage budgets and monitor financial and key performance indicators in a commercial environment
- Ensure WHS systems, policies and procedures are implemented, monitored and embedded across the park
- Build positive, constructive relationships with guests, long‑term occupants, contractors and internal stakeholders
About you
You are an experienced operational leader who brings a calm, practical and people‑centred approach to management. You are confident addressing challenging situations, supporting your team through change, and keeping people engaged during busy and sometimes complex operations.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as a manager in accommodation, holiday park, caravan park, or similar operational environment
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating staff in busy, customer‑focused operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including confidence and skill in having clear, respectful, effective and sometimes difficult conversations with staff and visitors
- The ability to solve problems quickly and practically, even in high‑pressure situations
- Experience supporting and implementing change while keeping teams engaged and motivated
- Sound financial and commercial awareness, including budget and cost management
- A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset, with the confidence to contribute ideas
- A genuine interest in enhancing the visitor experience and maintaining attractive, well‑run spaces
- A strong commitment to safety, and customer service
