  • 1x temporary part time Monday-Friday, (30 hours per week)
  • 1x temporary part time Monday-Friday, (27.5 hours per week)
  • Salary range from $36.41–$39.41 per hour depending on skills and experience + 12% superannuation

Education and Care Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality childcare services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area. We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a permanent and temporary OSHC Assistants to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs and maintaining individual records for children aged 5-12 years.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key qualifications, training skills and attributes:

  • Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care or equivalent qualification recognised as an approved qualification by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
  • Applicants actively working towards any Early Childhood qualification may be considered.
  • Knowledge of child development 5-12 years
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and legislative requirements
  • Current First Aid Certificate and approved asthma and anaphylaxis training.
  • Child Safety Certificate
  • A cleared Working with Children Check
  • Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups of children
  • Relevant work experience including practical experience in implementing the National Quality Framework.
