Operations Tradesperson - Construction
Permanent Full-time
Work-life balance offering a 38-hour work week with a rostered day off every fortnight.
Additional allowances and overtime may be applicable
Competitive Salary $70,775.12 - $82,252.04 + 11.5% superannuation p.a (Depending on skills and experience)

The Opportunity

As an Operations Tradesperson you will report to the Team Leader Construction and complete a range of tasks including roadworks, stormwater drainage, concrete and formwork, footpath, kerb and gutter construction, paving, and other associated civil works. You will also operate tools, machinery, and plant equipment, interpret plans and blueprints, and contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of projects to required standards and timelines.

In this role you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective use of resources, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria):

  • Certificate III in Construction (or similar) with hands-on experience in road and drainage construction or maintenance, including use of relevant tools and equipment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and interact professionally with both colleagues and customers.
  • Confident using digital tools and scheduling systems to support daily work activities and improve productivity.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and providing clear updates on operational tasks and services.
  • Hold and maintain MR Class Drivers Licence, Traffic Control Combo (Stop Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Plans) and WHS Induction Card
  • Willing to obtain within 12 months of employment; Level 1 Accredited Chainsaw – Trim & Crosscut Fallen Trees, Working near live electrical apparatus (non-electrical worker) certification, and current First Aid certificate.
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
