About the Strathfield Town Centre Master Plan Reference Group

To support this process, Council is seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) to appoint a Reference Group to act as a point of review and advice at key points during the preparation of the Master Plan. Council is wishing to appoint members with expertise and experience in the fields of:

  • Urban design and place making
  • Urban & Social Planning
  • Transport Planning
  • Economic development & night-time economy

The Reference Group is to provide independent, expert, and pragmatic advice on the development of the Master Plan. This will include reviewing and responding to draft reports, presentations provided by the project team and key issues as they arise through the project.

The role of the Reference Group is advisory only. It has no delegated authority or power under any other function to determine or authorise any matter presented to them.

However, recommendations or comments provided in response to material present will be used to inform the strategic direction of the Masterplan.

Nominations are also welcomed from applicants who wish to adopt the role of Chair for reference group meetings.
