Are you a marketing genius? Do you go down the rabbit hole when Meta announces a new update? If so, then Saltwater Busselton needs you!

We’ve established a strong brand identity for our new performing arts and conference venue in the heart of Busselton. Now we need you to promote the Saltwater brand far and wide and ensure maximum activation of our innovative spaces when the facility opens in early 2025. Join a small dedicated team who are passionate about growing opportunities for our region.

About the role:

This role presents an exciting challenge to grow a business from the ground up. You can set things up the way you like them and build a clean customer database. Bring your creative flair to a role that requires you to think outside the box as you develop and grow new audiences. With a focus on both attracting venue hirers and also marketing their shows and events to the wider public, you will never be bored. Work closely with our industry partners Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association, Australia’s South West and Business Events Perth to grow our business events offering. Support our tour promoters to attract new audiences and grow ticket sales. Work your magic to help the local arts community reach their full potential.

The person:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate/ or obtain the below competencies:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing position.
  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Communications or similar field
  • High level of computer acumen and graphic design skills, including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Microsoft Suite.
  • Proven capacity to learn new software systems.
  • A strong understanding of the tourism and events industry in WA
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
