Manager Information Services
This opportunity is for a Manager Information Services to leads and oversees Council’s IT, records management, and GIS functions, ensuring secure, reliable, and effective information systems that support operations and service delivery.
The role provides strategic leadership and governance within a small, skilled team, working collaboratively with staff and external providers to set priorities, manage risks, and align services with organisational goals. This position is permanent full-time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in an IT-related position
- Demonstrated experience in cyber security risk, governance and maturity uplift, including the implementation or oversight of contemporary cyber security controls
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational and capital budgets
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What we Offer
Salary and Conditions:
- Salary range: $4,332 to $4,657 per fortnight
- Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Position classified at Grade 14 within Council's Salary Structure.
- Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
