Do you have a passion for planning and analytics to drive improvement? Are you familiar with asset maintenance processes and systems? If you can build strong positive relationships with stakeholders and seek feedback to drive continuous improvement, then you may be the new team member we are seeking!

The role of our Maintenance Planning Officer includes:

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for council assets across all asset classes.
  • Liaise with various departments/staff to ensure maintenance activities are planned and delivered efficiently.
  • Assist with the prioritisation of maintenance activities based on urgency, safety and resource availability.
  • Develop and run reports to monitor expenditure against budget and report any variances.
  • Collect and analyse data related to maintenance activities, asset and staff performance to inform maintenance planning.
  • Assist with the development and issue of tenders and request for quotations.

What are we seeking in our new team member:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in a relevant area i.e. business, engineering, finance or administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT and systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW • White Card - General Construction Induction
  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Project Management (Desirable) – open to entry level applicants
