Position Number: 8102                           Location: Queanbeyan

The Package: $92,645.28 to $102,375.52 annual salary + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time - 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

Looking to advance your legal career in a supportive and innovative environment? Council is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Governance, Legal and Risk branch.

In this role you will:

• Provide high level administrative and clerical support to the General Manager and Manager, including the preparation of reports, correspondence and emails.
• Liaise with Councils Legal Advisors, and staff members for a wide variety of matters.
• Undertake research relating to tasks and functions of the General Manager and Manager.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds relevant qualifications or experience (a law degree is highly desirable) and can research and interpret NSW legislation.
• Has strong analytical, research, and written and verbal communication skills and prepare standard reports.
