Weekly Salary: $980.20 - $1,029.86 per week + Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $18.92 per week
Position Status: Permanent Full-time
Hours of Work: 38 hours per week with an RDO every three weeks

About the Opportunity
Join Bathurst Regional Council’s Water & Waste Section and play a vital role in maintaining our community’s water infrastructure. As a Labourer in Water Operations and Maintenance, you’ll support the Water Service Operator in efficiently and safely carrying out tasks to enhance the Water Reticulation System.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water mains, hydrants, and gate valves. Other tasks include conducting routine flushing of water mains and sewers and responding to customer service requests related to water leaks and pressure issues.
Essential Criteria:
- Licensing: Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Certifications: White Card
- Experience: Proven Experience in the utilisation of small plant used in the construction industry
- Skills: Logical thinking skills, Adequate numeracy & literacy
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team
