Looking for your next role???  Liverpool City Council is looking for dynamic and innovative individual to lead core business objectives of the Recreation and Community Outcomes Business Unit.

 

 

 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

As  a key leadership role within the Recreation and Community Outcomes Business Unit, you will oversee the management and activation of a number of recreation facilities and precincts, including Leisure Centre operations, Tennis Complexes and other strategically relevant venues.

You will provide and contribute to:

  • Identify and execute new business opportunities and initiatives that’s supports the primary objectives contained within the operational plan;
  • Support sporting clubs, Leisure Centre managers, venue tenants and hirers and other key community groups to maximise activation of council key sport, recreation and leisure venues;
  • Lead Councils sporting grants and other funding applications, and
  • Ensure effective governance of Council’s leisure centre management contracts.

ABOUT YOU

 

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

  • Appropriate qualifications or extensive experience in sports, recreation and/or community facilities management;
  • Current Class C Drivers licence;
  • Certificate IV in pool operations or similar;
  • Experience managing large multi-faceted aquatic and recreation venue;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review services and strategic documents; and
  • Ability to bring together and coordinate a diverse and extensive portfolio of projects concurrently.
