Asset Officer

1x Permanent Full Time – 35 hours, 5 days per week

Salary: $80,119.23 to $87,790.28 pa + Civil Liability Allowance + super

Location: 33 Moore Street, Liverpool.

 

Closing Date: 22nd May 2024

 

This role in the Asset Planning and Management team provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to gain and develop their skills and experience in a wide range of engineering functions in one of the most rapidly growing cities in NSW.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the asset management and associated operational support so as to facilitate the achievement of “best practice” asset management of Council’s infrastructure.

Liverpool Council supports the health and well-being of individual staff. Council offers all staff a professional working environment, on-going training and development and flexible working arrangement that include an optional two days of RDO each month.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Qualifications or training in civil engineering, asset management, surveying, GIS or other relevant discipline
  • Class C Driver’s License
  • Asset identification, classification, condition assessment & rating with sound judgement (roads, parks & recreation, property & buildings, drainage assets)
  • Database update, maintenance and management
  • Asset data collection using mobile field units, GPS logging/recording, data entry and processing.
  • Interpretation, analysis and presentation of asset data, information and reports.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
