The Role

Reporting to the Coordinator Open Space Operations and based in Wilberforce, the primary function of this position is the emptying of garbage bins, cleaning of shelters, BBQ's, toilets, open spaces and
all other council areas.


About You

You will have prior experience in
a similar position, you will have strong desire to learn, team focused with excellent communication skills. The ability to work unsupervised and work in a
safe manner in accordance with WH&S policies and procedures.

  • Essential Criteria
  • Class MR Drivers Licence
  • Experience driving trucks
  • Previous cleaning experience cleaning public areas
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Physically fit to suit various functions of the role
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • The right to live and work in Australia
  • WHS General Construction Work in NSW
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Successful applicants will be required to
    undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration

Desirable Criteria:

  • Traffic Controllers and Traffic Management Certificate
  • Confined Spaces Entry
  • Road Roller Licence
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate
