Make an Impact as an Infrastructure Planning Engineer
As an Infrastructure Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing infrastructure plans for public works projects. From roads to water supply systems, your work will shape the community's future.
Ensure all projects meet regulatory standards, are completed efficiently, and stay within budget to enhance the community's infrastructure.
Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- Providing expertise in the survey, design, and documentation of civil works
- Carrying out inspection and supervision of civil works to ensure compliance with standards
- Working collaboratively with Divisional staff and others to foster a motivated, fast-paced work environment
- Supporting management in improving workplace practices, service quality, and achieving goals by identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement
- Promoting workplace safety, risk reduction, and equal opportunity, addressing issues when needed
- Helping maintain a respectful, positive work culture by following workplace behavior standards responsibilities
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
Join us if you possess:
- Degree or tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field
- Extensive equivalent experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in civil engineering software and CAD/12D applications
- Current Class ‘C’ Driver’s Licence.
Desirable:
- Local Government experience or in an organisation with similar complexity
- Experience with estimation of the cost of works
- Experience with supervision of contracted works
- Experience with the Technology One Enterprise Solution, including Property & Rating, Works & Assets Management, Strategic Asset Management and Financials
