Council is seeking a Health and Building Surveyor to join our team. Reporting to the Manager Planning and Regulation you will be responsible for the assessment and issuing of various building certificates, fire safety schedules, food inspections audits, swimming pool certification and undertaking general compliance. 

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking building compliance inspections.
  • Undertaking regular food and public health inspections as required.
  • Carry out inspections of Public and Private Swimming Pools to ensure compliance.
  • Issuing notices, orders and fines under various legislation in accordance with delegations.
