• Salary range from $78,239.04 to $84,692.74 PA + 12% superannuation

About the role:
We are seeking an appropriately qualified (or nearing completion) Graduate Building Surveyor who will assist with the maintenance and continual development of Council's fire safety program. You will be assisting with fire safety assessments of proposed and existing buildings, to ensure compliance with Regulations.

The role also involves ensuring customer enquiries, building status enquiries and complaints in relation to Fire Safety are handled courteously, efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in building surveying, engineering or construction, or nearing
    completion of studies.
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain.
  • Awareness of legislative framework relating to building surveying or fire safety.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply accuracy and attention to detail.
