About the role
The
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a Governance Officer who can bring
strong local government knowledge, sound judgement, values teamwork and enjoys
helping people work better together. This is an opportunity to help build
governance capability across organisation and support the City’s governance
framework, legislative compliance, policy and continuous improvement.
What
you’ll do
- Coordinate Council and Committee meetings, preparing
agendas, reports and minutes.
- Attend meetings, provide support, record minutes and
manage follow-ups.
- Support the development, review and implementation of
policies, procedures and management guidelines.
- Assist with governance communications and projects that
improve accountability, transparency, and risk management.
