The role & you 

Do you have experience with spatial data editing software and have an eye for detail and data accuracy? If you are looking to join a progressive organisation that offers real work life balance this could be the opportunity for you!

In this position, you will be assisting with the maintenance of Council’s spatial data sets in the GIS and Land Information team. This will include the creation of and maintenance of Environmental, Planning, Property and Asset related map data. You will also be required to assist with the delivery of spatial information to internal and external users via Council’s Geographic Information Systems.

We are looking for someone with qualifications in Cartography, Spatial Technologies, or a related discipline. In addition, you will possess solid cartographic design skills and have the ability to collect, analyse and present complex material/data.

Salary: Salary package circa $70,100 - $77,100 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience)

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.

Closing date: Sunday, 2 June 2024 at 11.30pm.
