About the job
- This is a temporary 2-year traineeship, with the option of working Full time or part time to be flexible around study commitments
- Traineeship wages will apply in accordance with the Local Government State Award (2020)
The Finance Trainee will work within the Finance Team to support an efficient operation of finance services to the community. The successful candidate will perform day to day administrative duties, along with learning and supporting all aspects of finance.
In addition to the finance duties, you will perform day to day general administration duties such as:
- Reviewing and actioning customer requests, processing invoices, budget requests, purchasing requests, returned mail investigation and website content review.
- Supporting internal and external customers with general enquiries
About you
To take up this traineeship, you will be willing to or working towards completing a Cert III in Business, Cert IV in Financial Services or Bachelor degree in relevant field. You will be a great communicator, and passionate about working in a team. You will have an interest in working in an office environment and be willing to learn finance processes. You will be comfortable working on a computer but certainly up for a challenge in learning new systems.
