We are seeking someone to join the
Infrastructure Project Management Office as the Finance and Administration Officer.
The position is a temporary position backfilling for a maternity leave vacancy.
The role is located at the Council Depot.
As the Finance and Administration Officer you will:
- Provide administrative support for the Project Management Office and City Projects.
- Raise purchase orders, receipt & process invoices utilising Councils financial management software (Technology One Financials), adhering to our procurement guidelines.
- Manage the allocation of customer related enquiries by being the main point of contact for City Projects, distributing and tracking issues raised.

About the Role
This position is responsible for providing
administrative and financial support to the City Projects unit, by raising
purchase orders, receipting and processing invoices and managing the allocation
of customer enquiries
Skills and Experience
- A professional with ability to provide
administrative support and assistance to the unit. - An experienced financial officer with
understanding of financial management, CRM and project management systems. - A highly proficient user of the MS Office Suite
and a variety of database system applications. - A natural collaborator who shares knowledge.
- An excellent communicator with an ability to
effectively liaise with all levels of the internal and external stakeholders. - A reliable and accountable problem solver who is
able to resolve financial administrative tasks to meet the need of service unit
teams. - Knowledge of project management principles and
purchasing practices is desirable.
