About the Role
Council have an exciting leadership opportunity for aFacility Managerto join our team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Community Services, this role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Lilliane Brady Village, our 43-bed residential aged care facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- leading compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and maintaining accreditation readiness
- overseeing clinical governance, care quality and continuous improvement systems
- supporting achievement of care minutes targets and workforce capability development
- managing AN-ACC funding performance, admissions and occupancy sustainability
- providing strong leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary staff
- supporting a positive workplace culture aligned with Council’s ACE IT values
- managing service budgets, reporting and operational planning
- maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, regulators and community stakeholders

About You
To be successful in this position, you will need to have:
- Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered

Demonstrated leadership experience in residentual aged care or a comparable clinical service environment

Comprehensive understanding of compliance and quality processes in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards

Dynamic leadership skills to build an empowered, positive team culture
-
Superior written and verbal communications skills with the interpersonal skills to develop a strong rapport with all internal and external stakeholders

Solid understanding of good governance, continuous improvement, risk management, and financial control
-
Sound knowledge and application of all fees, charges and commonwealth funding relevant to a Commonwealth subsidised residential aged care, including ANNAC
