  • Salary $43,024.80 to $49,280.40 p/a + super
  • Fixed Term Full Time Contract – Up to 2 years

About the role

Are you passionate about event planning and eager to kickstart your career in event management?

 

Council is seeking a motivated Event Management Trainee to join our dynamic team and help bring exciting community events to life!

 

Reporting to the Events Coordinator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of a wide range of community events and programs
  • Support logistics, vendor management, and on-the-day event operations
  • Gain hands on experience in event management including marketing, budgeting, risk and stakeholder management
  • Contribute to enhancing the community’s event experiences in Ku-ring-gai

 

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Completion of HSC or equivalent
  • Commitment to complete the Certificate III in Events qualification
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment
