- Permanent Full-Time position - 35-hour week
- Salary commencing from $95,603 per annum, based on skills and experience + 12% Superannuation

About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a self-motivated and driven Environmental Health Officer to join a dynamic, results-oriented team. Supported by experienced professionals, the successful applicant will gain valuable exposure to a broad range of environmental health matters within a local government setting.
To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health or a relevant discipline with a minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
- Sound knowledge and experience of Environmental Health matters within a local government setting.
- Ability to communicate, influence, educate and negotiate effectively within all levels of the organisation, Government Departments and the public on all matters relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely, relevant and quality professional advice to staff and external customers.
- Evidence to support the ability to plan, prioritise, think and solve problems on a day-to-day basis and collaborate as the situation requires.
