Salary: Commencement annual salary range from $115,799.84 to $127,374.52 (Grade 19), plus superannuation, a fully maintained leaseback vehicle. Market premium depending on experience.
Employment Type: Permanent, (35 hours per week)

About the Role
The Development Assessment Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective processing, assessment and determination of development applications within the Griffith area. This position is responsible for providing expert guidance and support throughout all stages of the development assessment process, offering informed planning advice to internal and external stakeholders and contributing to high-quality planning outcomes. A strong customer -focused approach is essential, with the Coordinator expected to foster positive and professional engagement with applicants, consultants and the community while upholding statutory requirements and promoting best- practise service delivery.
The successful applicant will be required to have completed a degree in planning and be eligible for Planning Institute of Australia registration and hold an Australian Class C driver licence.

The successful applicant will be required to have extensive experience in development assessment, interpret and apply legislation and policy and knowledge to fulfil the requirements of the position and lead a small professional team.
