About the Role

Reporting to the Coordinator Engineering, this role is responsible for delivering technical design support for a range of infrastructure projects including roads, traffic facilities, stormwater works, minor building and civil projects.

You’ll also:

  • Review construction drawings submitted as part of property development applications
  • Collect survey and level data
  • Process and design driveway application
  • Engage and manage consultants for external design work as required

What We’re Looking For

We’ve updated our experience requirement — now seeking candidates with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in infrastructure design. So, if you’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to step up, this is it!

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Minimum 1 year experience in infrastructure design — roads, traffic, stormwater, and civil works
  • Sound working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and Civil Site Design
  • Experience in the reviewing of plans submitted as part of Development Applications, Section 68 applications and Section 138 applications. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service

Desirable

  • Local Government experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Surveying knowledge (preferred but not essential)
