Our Customer Service team are looking for energetic, passionate, customer-focused individuals to join our team at Campbelltown City Council.

About the role:

To thrive in this role, you’re someone who finds it easy to build and maintain positive relationships to be able to provide a great customer experience.  

The role will see you respond to customer enquiries over the phone in our contact centre, on email and manage the day-to-day operation at our front counter in a high volume and fast paced environment. 

If you’re agile, dynamic and love working with people where every day is a great day for making an impact with customers, then this role is for you. 

Suitable candidates will also be added to a Talent Pool and contacted for future vacancies that arise over the next 12 months. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes: 

  • Passion for providing a fantastic customer experience 
  • Experience working in a contact centre 
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 
  • Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds 
  • Highly developed computer skills with the ability to learn systems quickly 
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure team environment 
  • Experience handling cash and processing payments
