Description

THE JOB

We are looking for a passionate and proactive person with a customer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills to join our Customer Experience Team on a temporary part-time basis for up to 12 months covering a position which is vacant due to team movements relating to a maternity leave secondment.

In this position you will deliver frontline customer service via phone, face-to-face, and digital channels including responding to enquiries, receipting of payments, daily reconciliations, processing applications, records and bookings, and preparation of standard correspondence and reports. resolving issues.

THE LOCATION

Snowy Valleys Council is a scenic and heritage rich local government area in the South-West Slopes region of New South Wales which spans 8959km2 with approximately 15,000 residents living in a number of vibrant and unique towns, villages and rural properties.  It is a perfect location for families and those seeking a tree change to a more relaxed and affordable lifestyle whilst still having access to a wide range of leisure options, shopping, education and employment. CONDITIONS

  • Temporary, part time position working 31 hours per fortnight over 4 days each fortnight Thursday and Friday from 8.30am – 5.00pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
  • Salary of $1054.09 - $1186.37 per fortnight based on qualifications skills and experience.
  • 12% superannuation.
  • Remote area salary sacrificing options available
  • This position is based in the Tumut office.
