The Package: $69,213.04 - $76,478.48 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time – 35 hours per week.

A merit pool will be established from this recruitment process that will be utilised for similar positions across Braidwood, Bungendore and Queanbeyan.

In this role you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service through face-to-face, phone, live chat, email, and written correspondence.
  • Perform cashiering duties, including payment receipting, refunds, bulk banking, and end-of-day reconciliations.
  • Support Council services with administrative tasks, including processing development inquiries and applications.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses experience in customer service and delivering high quality customer engagement.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic records management.
  • Has previous experience in cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and daily banking functions.
