This position is classified as a PACS Band 2 ($59,774 – $63,831 p.a, pro rata) under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration system.

About the Role
The City is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Crèche Officer to join the Community Facilities Team at the City of Kwinana. Reporting to the Crèche Supervisor you will be required to provide the highest level of service and care in the day-to-day implementation of crèche operations, ensuring a safe environment is provided for children at all City of Kwinana Crèches and ensure the crèche facilities meet the needs of the community.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in working in a crèche environment.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements with specific reference to a child care environment.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety and nutritional needs for children.
  • Ability to provide the highest quality of customer service.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, Applied First Aid certificate.
  • Requirement to work weekends and after hours as rostered.
