Hunters Hill is an area rich in community spirit and heritage.  We are not your local government area…our Council is located in the heart of Sydney surrounded by beautiful parks and pristine waterways.  We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Coordinator, Open Spaces to join our friendly team. 

As Council’s Coordinator of Open Spaces, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a small team responsible for the maintenance of Hunter’s Hill Council’s open spaces, parks, gardens and reserves to the standard determined by the service level agreements within Council’s Asset Management framework.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Works Manager, the role involves planning and organising work, delegating tasks, ensuring safety standards are met, and monitoring progress to ensure the open spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

You will be required to utilise a range of equipment that includes, but is not limited to:  mower, weed spraying units, blowers and whipper snippers whilst also ensuring your team manage their work in a safe and competent manner.
