Are you ready to make an impact in the heart of communication and community engagement? We're looking for a passionate and creative Communications Officer to join our dynamic team in a full-time or part-time role.

  • Drive the development and maintenance of online and digital communication channels.
  • Manage and create content for the Shire's corporate website (Silverstripe CMS).
  • Oversee social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and produce engaging content.
  • Coordinate e-newsletters and monitor performance.
  • Support internal stakeholders with community engagement strategies.
  • Ensure brand integrity and compliance with statutory obligations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in website administration and content management systems.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver communications campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Experience using social media and creating multimedia content.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
