Cleaner
Temporary part-time until September 2025 (25 hours a week)
Additional penalty allowances may be applicable
Attractive Salary: $29.66 - $34.48 per hour + 11.5% Superannuation (Depends on skills and experience)

 

The Opportunity

As a Cleaner you will report to the Building Maintenance Facilities Officer and be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and hygiene services across Council infrastructure assets and facilities. In this role you will need to ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained in accordance with Council protocols. You'll be required to perform a range of routine and deep cleaning tasks, monitor supply levels, and report maintenance or safety issues as needed.

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria):

  1. Minimum two years' experience in residential or commercial cleaning, with comprehensive knowledge of safe chemical handling techniques, cross contamination risks and hygiene measures.
  2. Proven ability to facilitate safe and competent use of chemicals and equipment.
  3. Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for working activities to enable systems to facilitate day- to-day operations.
  4. Hold a current C Class driver's license and Safe Handling of Chemicals certificate.
  5. Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
