About the role
Are you ready to step into a key procurement role supporting some of the City's most impactful projects? We’re currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team on a 6-month contract supporting the City Life division. This is an excellent opportunity for internal staff looking to broaden their skills or take the next step in their career.
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll work alongside a Procurement Business Partner to:
assist with procurement activities across a diverse range of projects, including high-value and community-focused initiativessupport the preparation and evaluation of tenders, quotations and expressions of interestprovide input into procurement strategy, contract development and risk managementcontribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices and deliver value-for-money outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experiencestrong working knowledge of procurement legislation, tendering processes, and contract managementproven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple prioritiesa solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for our community.
This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is keen to contribute to best practice procurement that aligns with the City’s values of integrity, quality, and innovation.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
