If you are an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educator and Group Leader looking for an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young children, we would love to hear from you! Our Eastside Long Day Care Centre has a full-time opportunity for for skilled and experienced Group Leader to join the team.
As the Group Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and programs for a group of children.
- Supervising and supporting a team of educators.
- Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Tracking and documenting children's progress and behavior.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

ABOUT US
The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.
The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, about 1.5 hours from the Upper Hunter and 50 minutes from Tamworth. Famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
We offer a competitive salary commencing at $60,080 to $76,908 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
